Black Dyke to showcase Steadman Allen’s ‘Seascapes’

Black Dyke will be giving their supporters an opportunity to hear Ray Steadman Allen’s Seascapes by ahead of the forthcoming Yorkshire Regional Brass Band Championships at Huddersfield Town Hall.

Lost and Found for Nicholas Childs

It's been something of a question of lost and found for Black Dyke Director of Music, Prof Nicholas Childs, after he was recently told that he had just notched up a century of contest successes after leading Krohnengen Band to the Norwegian First Division National title in Bergen.

New Solo Tuba at Black Dyke

Black Dyke Band are delighted to announce that the experienced and very talented Gavin Saynor has accepted the position as Solo Tuba at the Queensbury band.

Black Dyke’s Music Director commented “Gavin is an outstanding player and I look forward to welcoming him into a section with such a wealth of experience.
