“An epic event”

The much anticipated Black Dyke Band Brass Festival will take place on Sunday June 9th 2024 in the Huddersfield Town Hall. This promises to be a spectacular and epic event, with instrumental workshops (please see details below) and a Gala Concert commencing at 3pm. Not only will the Black Dyke Band be featured in the concert, but in the second half the massed bands from Armthorpe Elmfield, Delph, Littleborough, Hatfield and Askern, Murley Silver (Ireland), and the wonderful Yorkshire Youth Band will also take part.

Music to suit all tastes

The Gala Concert will feature music for everyone, including Jupiter (I vow to thee my Country), music from the James Bond genre presented as a soloist’s showcase and Peter Graham’s spectacular Triquetra. In the second half the Black Dyke Band will join forces with all the other bands in massed formation, to present 633 Squadron, A Little Disney Fantasy and the Finale from the New World Symphony, among many other favourites!
