GEMS FROM QUEENSBURY VOL. I

“Gems of Queensbury”, Volume I is a rare collection of historic manuscripts from the rich archive of the Black Dyke Band. Many of the manuscripts date back to the Mid-Victorian period at the inception of the band. This modern recording contains excerpts from of of the bands’ most treasured artefacts from the early days of the Black Dike Mills Band – the John Foster Part Books. These books represent much of the repertoire of those early days and are a joy to listen to.

This CD is available for a donation of £10 to the bands funds.
