As 2025 draws to a close, the Black Dyke Band has been busy bringing joy and festive spirit to audiences across the region. Our most recent performance took place at Huddersfield Town Hall, where once again we had the pleasure of collaborating with the Huddersfield Choral Society, under the expert direction of Neil Ferris. The evening was truly magical, with our combined rendition of “O Holy Night” leaving the audience spellbound. Thank you to everyone who joined us for this memorable concert!

We’re excited to announce that we’ll be returning to Huddersfield for our final performance of the year on December 21st. We hope to see many familiar faces there!

Earlier this month, we celebrated our annual Christmas concert at Holy Trinity Church in our home town of Queensbury. The atmosphere was heartwarming, and as always it was wonderful to perform in such a beautiful setting. We’re thrilled to share that we’ll be back in Queensbury on July 16, 2026, and tickets are available now.

Our festive season kicked off in great style, with a packed house at the Halifax Victoria Theatre, where we joined the Halifax Choral Society for an enchanting concert. We look forward to our return to Halifax on September 16, 2026.

In November, we wrapped up a fantastic month with performances at the Sheffield Citadel Salvation Army and Holmfirth Civic Hall. Thank you to everyone who joined us; your support makes these events very special. We’re excited to be back in Sheffield for our annual Christmas concert at Sheffield City Hall on December 13th, in partnership with Sheffield Philharmonic Chorus.

These are just a few examples of the many wonderful concerts the band has presented in recent weeks. For more details on all the band’s activities and future concerts, please click on the ‘See us play’ play tab on our website.

As we reflect on this busy period, the Black Dyke Band would like to convey our heartfelt gratitude to all our fans and followers. Your support is invaluable to us. May this Christmas season bring you warmth, joy, and special moments with loved ones. We wish you a very Merry Christmas and look forward to sharing more music with you in the new year!

Stay tuned for more updates, and we hope to see you at some of our upcoming performances! In the meantime, you might want to check out our latest Christmas recording, in partnership with the Bradford Cathedral Choir, available by visiting the eShop on our website.
