Course Description
Our intermediate course helps you to improve on all the techniques you might have learned in our Beginner’s course and then adds new ones. If you have already mastered the basics of playing the Cornet, then this might be a good place for you to start.
Richard Marshall continues to guide you through a wide range of instrument techniques, all the while developing your musical appreciation and understanding. New key signatures and rhythmic patterns are learnt as well as new scales. Sight-reading is worked on, stamina improved, and new skills learnt alongside improving the basics. You will be learning more complicated graded pieces and longer pieces. This ten-video course is designed to develop skills you already have, whilst giving you many new ones to improve your playing and enjoyment of the Cornet.
