THE WORLD’S MOST FAMOUS BRASS BAND VISITS LUCERNE

The reputation and excellence of the Black Dyke Band with over 150 years of consistency are unique and open the doors to the music world for the band. Concert tours took them to many countries on all continents and in October 1993 as the first British brass band to New York’s Carnegie Hall. Her masterful skills were documented on over 140 sound carriers. The youngest champion titles on an international, national and regional level were won by the band under its chief conductor Professor Dr. Nicholas Childs.
