We’re delighted to announce that Black Dyke Band, under the direction of Nicholas Childs, will return to the BBC Proms on Sunday 19th July 2026 at the iconic Royal Albert Hall — our first appearance at the festival since 2007. ✨

Joining us as soloist is internationally acclaimed euphonium virtuoso David Childs, performing Force of Nature by Peter Graham. The programme also features a thrilling line-up of major works including Four Minute Mile (Judith Bingham), Paganini Variations (Philip Wilby), Symphony in Two Movements (Edward Gregson), and the ever-popular Moorside Suite by Gustav Holst.

Recognised as the world’s leading classical music festival, the BBC Proms brings together the finest artists and ensembles from across the globe. We are incredibly proud to represent the rich heritage and power of brass banding on such a prestigious international stage. 🌍

A landmark occasion — we can’t wait to share it with you! ✨👏
