Black Dyke is the most famous as well as the most recorded band in the world with over 350 recordings and growing every year, in October 2020 the band’s recording of music by John Rutter became the first by a brass band to reach No.1 in the classical music chart.

The band has recorded with Sir Elton John, Lesley Garrett, Victoria Wood, Tori Amos and was nominated for an Oscar for its collaboration with Peter Gabriel for the soundtrack of the film ‘Babe II: A Pig in the City’.
